Game story

Soup Pot is a cooking game that has two platforms, the main one is the cooking part where the players are in a 3D kitchen cooking their dishes while streaming on 'Cookbook' a social media platform.

My work (tldr)

I focused on bringing the social media platform of Soup Pot called 'Cookbook' alive with mindfulness and accessibility in mind.

Main Screens

Cookbook is a 'social media' platform in which the players spend their time interacting and buying their ingredients for their cook.

Since the game is set in South East Asia, I went for a color plate that is reminiscent of the foods there, mainly reds and greens.

Accessibility in design

Given my own dyslexia, ease of use was at the forefront of the UI construction. I was primarily focused on what could help users, particularly the visually impaired.

By anchoring the design to the left and right, as shown by the sidebar menus, the players can intuitively rely on transitioning between the pages (from the kitchen to sink, stove, etc) by simply referring to the tabs
